Round 2: Advice from Leaders
As promised, here is the next round of advice from some other leaders in the industry, people I personally admire, and even my amazing father :)
What is your one piece of advice or one habit that has helped you create and maintain success?
Success as it relates to providing the best customer experience at airports:
“It’s important to KNOW your customers before you can SERVE your customers!”
Success as it relates to your personal success story:
“Define what success means to you (it looks different for everyone) then work your butt off to achieve it.”
As it relates to your personal journey:
"When you do what you love it doesn't feel like work. Thats when you know you're on the right path!"
As it relates to continuing your success:
Momentum is the key to continual success. We may choose wrong paths or make bad decisions, but if we have momentum we can adjust how and where we are moving. Without momentum it takes exponential amount of time and effort to get things moving in any direction.

And lastly, (yes I am biased and proud of it)- here are the most amazing words of wisdom by my business mentor, best friend, and father:
When I first moved from being a programmer to sales engineering, it was a real adjustment and I began to seek out advice. A friend advised me to read a book from Harvey Mackay, called Swim With The Sharks Without Being Eaten Alive. He really taught me how to interact and treat people, customers and employees. One of my favorite quotes, although I have many is this:
“Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you
right. Forget about those who don’t. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it.”
I hope these words resonate with you as they did with me. If there is one lesson I have learned over this entrepreneurial journey, it is to never stop learning. Never stop asking questions. And surround yourself with brilliant people that you admire who push you to be even greater than you were the day before.
